The most common problem with the VIC displays is this one. In TV terms it's referred to as a vertical collapse, or loss of vertical deflection.

This is an example of a fully restored VIC. Any deflection issues are resolved. Picture geometry, position and image clarity are adjusted.
Touchscreen faceplate is cleaned both front and back sides as well as the CRT surface. Button text is returned to a bright white finish. Any hard key lamps that are burned out are replaced (Proactive replacement of all lamps is possible as well) . Units
Other VIC issues that have been seen are a total loss of power, loss of picture where there is no flyback activity at all. Loss of picture where the touchscreen still responds and the hard keys are still illuminated at night.
Other failures seen are missing RGB colors. If related to the electron guns, this is not repairable unless a CRT tube transplant is done.
